Position: LPN 12 Hour Shifts
Shift/Schedule: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Pay: Starting at $25.50 based on experience (Pay Varies Per Shift)
(Pay= Base Pay Shift Diff Bonus)

This shift allows for MUCH time off including every other weekend as well as 7 DAYS OFF in an 8 day stretch. This allows for ample time to take care of personal/family business, or pick up extra shifts.
The schedule allows for 72 hours every pay period, but given the time off in the 8 days, you can easily pick up to get over 80 hours as well as OT!!
If you want an extremely flexible schedule that can allow you to work how much or how little you want, this is the one!!
The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to residents under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse and within the scope of nursing practice for the state.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize nursing knowledge and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care of the assigned patient as evidenced by documentation and observation of positive patient care outcomes.
- Perform delegated independent nursing functions using facility procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards as observed by the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Administer medication accurately, observe patient response, based on documentation in the medical record and lack of negative outcomes.
- Maintain and coordinate communication among patient/significant other, staff, and physician as evidenced within medical record, resident and heath care team feedback.
- Perform ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health.
- Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid registration as an LPN in the state of practice.
- Completion of relevant State Board of Nursing approved.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Work as a team member independently and responsibly.
- Document/Record observations and activities.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population.
- Ability to assess data reflecting the resident’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident’s requirements relative to their need.
