Maison du Monde Living Center is seeking an experienced Laundry Attendant. As a preferred employer, the community offers long-term care and memory care, as well as short-term rehabilitation services.
Full-time position (6a - 2p; 10a - 2p)
In this role, staff will provide residents with clean bed linens and laundered personal items.
Responsibilities:
- Follows safety standards, manufacturer's instructions and manufacturer's recommendations when performing tasks
- Cleans and properly stores equipment and supplies
- Follows proper infection control and standard precautions when performing tasks
- Follows the facility’s procedure for sanitizing laundry
- Assists in the collection of soiled bed linens and resident personal items
- Distributes clean laundered bed linens and personal items to residents.
- Recognizes and honors Resident rights
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Ability to safely and effectively perform the functions of the job by adhering to the policies of the facility
- Experience in working in a long-term care facility preferred
