EVERY OTHER WEEKEND WORK SCHEDULE!
Maison du Monde Living Center, a 128-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking an experienced RN for weekend shifts (8 -hour shifts). The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and direct the functions and activities of the nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care. Our team members will count on you to provide direction and leadership. Experience in long-term care preferred.
Every Other Weekend - 8-hour shifts
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Weekend RN you will:
- Supervise and accept responsibility for the operation of the facility during absence of administrative staff
- Adjust staffing to meet needs and to provide adequate coverage of the facility
- Provide primary skin care, with emphasis on wound care therapy as needed on weekend shifts
- Provide direct patient care when needed
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully when personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in long-term care required
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience as an RN preferred
- Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing with current RN license
