What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman position at Maison St. Charles Hotel & Suites?
We are seeking an experienced, reliable houseman to join our team. The houseman will provide general cleaning,minor maintenance and repair services for our hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the hotel, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing and scrubbing.
- Perform minor repairs such as fix leaky faucets, replace light bulbs, and unclog toilets.
- Ensure all hotel areas are clean and safe for guest.
- Assist with the setup and break down of furniture, equipment, and other materials for events.
- Monitor and replenish supplies such as cleaning products, paper towels , and toilet paper.
- Respond to guest requests.
- Remove trash from rooms and replace linens, towels, and other items as needed.
- Meet customer and company expectations.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used correctly.
- Use equipment safely.
- Communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
