Summary
Are you looking to join a creative and energetic preschool team? Do you love working with young children and helping them foster their love of learning? We are looking to add to our fun, friendly, and professional staff. We are looking for a substitute teacher to work occasionally when our teachers and assistants need to be out and for the lunch hour during our monthly staff meetings. You might be called that morning or get scheduled in advance. Great job for a little extra money.
Duties
- Assist in implementing the daily program under the direction of the lead teacher.
- Assist in preparing the learning environment, set up learning centers, and prepare needed materials and supplies, including copying, laminating, and preparing for after school activities.
- Supervise the classroom when the lead teacher is out of the room or absent.
- Help with the general housekeeping tasks.
- Assist the lead teacher in any other way.
- Maintain confidentiality of children, parents and fellow staff members.
- Maintain professional attitudes and loyalty to the program at all times.
- Treat all of the children with dignity and respect.
- Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
- Complete required 15 hours in-service training per year.
Requirements
Nice To Haves
More than 2 years experience in early childhood education.
First Aid and CPR completed.
45 hours completed
