Maintenance Lead

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

Facilitates Team Start of Shift meeting and End of Shift review meeting for assigned areas and
participates in other site communication meetings as necessary.
2. Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests, as assigned.
3. Responds to equipment breakdowns quickly, troubleshoots resolution in a timely manner as possible.
4. Schedule and complete preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance to equipment and
building according to established procedures.
5. Monitor and maintain all building systems, as assigned.
6. Analyze work processes and equipment to make recommendations for improved processes and
efficiencies that drive:
a. KPI's back to standard or better than standard;
b. Improved tooling/equipment performance; and
c. Improved work place organization and overall process flow improvements.
7. Performs necessary research for repairs and identifies supplies/parts needed to complete the task.
8. Maintains superior records in the CMMS System.
9. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment. Ability to troubleshoot an anomaly independently
on various production lines.
10. Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvements to ensure reliable equipment is available
for production. First line of escalation for any problems/issues.
11. Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.
12. Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.
13. Advocate for safety and provide regular safety observations.
14. Perform lock-out tag-out as an authorized associate with non-routine or major repairs, as needed.
15. Maintain a safe work environment by practicing good work habits, housekeeping procedures and
adhering to safety guidelines.
16. Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and
OSHA standards.

17. Promotes and maintains a positive team atmosphere by coaching, recognizing and providing
constructive feedback to the team.
18. Train, coach and mentor Reliability Apprentices and Reliability Technicians.
19. Provides feedback on associate performance in assigned area and makes recommendations on
employment activities including hiring, training, work assignments, transfer, promotion, discipline and
termination.
20. Assists Reliability Manager and Facility Manager in equipment and facility improvement designs.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements
Eight years maintenance experience or Technical Trade school degree.
Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fundamentals
Advanced knowledge of preventative maintenance, repair and or installation of industrial equipment
using skills associated with trades such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or welding.
Experience in MS Office products and windows-based computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment.

Supervisory Responsibility

• No direct supervisory responsibilities.

Additional

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand 10 hours per day, in addition to walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Be able to mount, dismount and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Must be able to work in both hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.
• Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days, as needed, which includes weekdays and weekends.
