What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Adminstrator (Technician) position at Majestic Custom?
Do you have a passion for quality and process?! Majestic Steel is excited to add a Quality Assurance Administrator (Technician) to our team! This person will provide administrative support and manage the process for non-conforming material.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer the non-conforming product processes for the plant.
- Provide Support for the ISO 9001 quality/business system implementation and maintenance.
- Provide support for continuous improvement to departments that impact the product quality.
- Perform various tests, inspections, audits, and studies as required to verify the effectiveness of the quality system such as the following quality assurance functions mechanical testing, gage management and calibration, preventive actions, process control and quality auditing.
- Communicate effectively with operations to perform equipment and process validation activities.
- Knowledge of service center flow from receiving to processing to shipping, to make sound decisions.
- Other job related duties and special projects as assigned.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- Minimum one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of calibration systems.
- Technologically savvy and experience working with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work effectively in a fast paced and high stress environment.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with associates and customers at all levels.
- Ability to research and analyze information and draw valid conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent problem solving, decision making and strong prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
- Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) certification.
- Knowledge of SPC techniques and LEAN concepts
- Knowledge of dimensional analysis and Gage R&R.
- ISO 9001 Internal Audit Certification.
Additional
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
- Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
