We are seeking a CAD Optimization Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD, CNC machining, and the granite industry. The CAD Optimization Tech will be responsible for optimizing CAD designs for use in our Granite Shop and CNC machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimize CAD designs for use in a Granite Shop for CNC machines
- Collaborate with CNC operators to maximize efficiency of machines.
- Perform quality checks on CAD designs to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Provide technical support to production team as needed
- Maintain and update CAD software and equipment
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience that demonstrates necessary skill sets for position.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in CAD or the stone industry.
