Front Desk Receptionist
Full & Part Time (Weekends)
Majestic Oaks and Rehabilitation is seeking to hire a dynamic, energetic and exceptional full-time & part-time Receptionist for our long term care / skilled nursing facility. Must be professional and have the ability to network at all levels with strong drive and passion for success.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist :
- Operate telephone, answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments
- Greet residents, families, and employees and determine nature and purpose of visit and direct or escort them to their destination
- Must be customer service oriented and demonstrate good communication and phone skills
- Transferring calls and assisting residents as needed
- handling issues with any residents, vendors and family members
- Communicate effectively with department staff to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the facility
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
- Monitor entrance to ensure that confused residents do not exit the building unattended
- Update and maintain a list of resident funds available
- Maintain the confidentiality of all residents care information and funds following HIPAA guidelines
- Capability to multi-task and light clerical work and tasks
- Assist other personnel as requested
