Majestic Steel is currently looking for a Reliability Manager to join our staff! This person will impact our business by maintaining facility equipment and ensuring our machines are running safely and smoothly to support production operations. - Supervise, coordinate, and plan the repair of equipment and projects to ensure that work is properly and safely completed in a timely manner.
- Direct and organize maintenance fundamental tasks such as corrective repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance functions, as well as improvements and upgrades.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of staff and training needs. Manage technician performance and development.
- Enforce all safety policies, laws, and codes including but not limited to PPE, LOTO, practice, and tools.
- Performs maintenance repairs as necessary on equipment, vehicles, and facility.
- Responsibility for procurement of all parts and materials as well as maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Direct area scheduling, work assignments, and priorities for all area associates.
- Utilizes utility techs in janitorial staff to maintain a clean, presentable facility inside and out.
- Enforces company polices within the area.
- Maintains all current and future developed KPI tracking programs including CMMS. Also, records of equipment, expenses, inventory, schedules, and all other related documentation.
- Expected to work closely with production, quality, and safety departments to address repairs, upgrades, and concerns.
- Remains in constant contact with Plant Manager and Multi-Site Reliability Manager. Frequent and timely communication is expected especially as issues arise.
- Other job related duties and projects as assigned.
- 5 to 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 5 years supervisory experience.
- Experienced with Microsoft office and Windows.
- Mechanical and electrical background with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.
- Organized and motivated with strong management/supervisory capabilities.
- Able to plan and complete projects with limited assistance and supervision.
- Strategic thinker with tactical, hands on problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrates team leadership in a fast paced setting and displays high sense of urgency
- Desire to lead a team with continuous improvement in mind.
- Supervisor responsibility: Maintenance Area and Reliability Area
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as necessary.
- Must be available for calls to address emergencies, give direction, assistance, and tech support outside of normal business hours/days as necessary.
