Driver responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Driving clients daily to their pre-determined destinations
- Maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Using navigation apps to determine the best route
Job brief
We are looking for a reliable Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner.
Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle and planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
As a Majesty Enterprises Driver, you will help us bring customer satisfaction and ensure clients continue to choose Majesty Enterprises for their transportation needs.
It must be noted that a company vehicle will be provided to all drivers.
Responsibilities
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
- Assist clients with loading and unloading into the vehicle
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Ensure the vehicle seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
- Report any vehicle issues to immediate supervisor
- Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car
Requirements and skills
- Must be dependable
- Must be at least 24 years of age
- Must have proven experience as a Driver
- A valid Virginia, Maryland or North Carolina driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Must be able to bend, lift, and push
- Available to work some Saturdays
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- A high school diploma
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
