Senior Accountant
Location : Salt Lake City, UT (On-site)
Major Drilling America is seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to join its US Finance Team. The primary responsibilities will be maintaining appropriate accounts reconciliation, ensuring compliance with various internal and external reporting as well as supporting overall operations of the finance team. The ideal candidate should have outstanding organizational skills, strong teamwork ethic, and a keen ability to ensure effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain appropriate account reconciliations while ensuring proper follow through of variances noted
- Prepare appropriate GL Entries to update financial records
- Analyze and reconcile capital asset purchases
- Ensure intercompany transactions / balances match
- Upload payroll related transactions in the financial system
- Submit various regulatory filings and operations reports
- Check and ensure compliance with financial policies
