Surface Driller/Helper

JOB SUMMARY:

The Driller Helper will utilize their skills and knowledge to support drilling operations with Their teams. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. Assignments are deadline driven so must be able to set priorities, work efficiently and provide a consistent quality product in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.), digging, shoveling, and bending while operating equipment and collecting samples in the field
• Trenching, plumbing and piping
• Loading equipment and transporting it to the job site
• Equipment operation specific to the project
• Completion of daily paperwork (worksheets, driver logs, etc.) under the direction of a supervisor
• Clear communication with crew and clients
• On-call availability for scheduled rotation and or as a needed basis

Qualification/Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with an excellent driving record within company standards; CDL A or B a plus but not required
• Weekends and long hours required
• The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
• Strong reasoning skills
• The ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Must pass fit for duty physical, drug and alcohol screening, and detailed background check
• Subject to random drug testing & alcohol with company policy

• 12-hour shift, weekly shifts vary by rotation

• Oil & gas: 1 year (Preferred
• Mineral Exploration: 1 year (Preferred)
• Horizontal Drilling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction Experience 1 Year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift or Night Shift
• Sunday through Saturday
