JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Operating Room Clinical Leader, a licensed Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will assume the responsibility and accountability for the direct and indirect implementation of the patient`s plan of care in the Perioperative setting. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. Circulating Registered Nurses assist surgeons during operations and are responsible for communication and education of surgical patients and their families in making sure that the patient receives optimal care in Perioperative setting. As a member of the surgical team, the Registered Nurse Circulator in the Operating Room will assist surgeons and anesthesiologists while he/she works as a member of the surgical team. Assists in nightly task determined by manager including but not limited to other task: pulling cases, outdates, stocking surgical suites, rotating stock, dusting OR shelves, and setting up rooms for the next day. Will be responsible for starting early add-on cases prior to staff arrival.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - MISSION STATEMENT
