MLB Network seeks a Freelance Graphic Artist with knowledge and experience of on-air graphics design. The Freelance Graphic Artist will help to create on-air content that reinforces the branding and creative goals as established by the Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities:
- Complete daily elements for MLB Network shows/properties as assigned by the Sr. Manager and Sr. Graphic Artists.
- Design and produce on-air graphics packages/elements for MLB Network shows/properties.
- Design and produce on-air graphics packages/elements for MLB Network sales.
- Create templates for MLB Network on-air graphics show/properties support.
- Work along with artists to reach creative goals.
- Stay current with creative and technical industry trends.
- Other such duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years' broadcast design or related business experience is required.
- Experience in the television, advertising, affiliate sales or production industries are preferred.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate initiative/ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner.
- Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate the tact, diplomacy, decisiveness, and superior people skills required in a pressurized live television environment.
- Proficient with After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or kneel for extended periods of time.
- Possess the manual dexterity needed to effectively create required work product.
- Possess the visual acuity needed to effectively create required work product.
- Possess the auditory acuity needed to effectively create required work product.
- Must possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.
- Bachelor's degree is required; Graphic Design or Motion Design major is highly preferred.
