Manager, Marketing Creative Specialist
Position Summary: Oversee organization-wide external promotion, helping to develop and manage creative and content strategy, visual branding, assets, and messaging
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help manage the digital/content team in the production of all creative collateral, including videos, graphics, social media, and email campaigns, and oversee management of internal media assets.
- Create collateral (graphics & video) for distribution on social media, website, email and other digital platforms
- Oversee development and maintenance of the organization-wide logos and style guides, ensuring all brand standards are preserved.
- Execute public-facing promotional strategies to position the MLBPA to external audiences.
- Create, execute, and implement content strategies and other materials to market the union, including exploring opportunities to sell content.
- Grow the MLBPA brand to identify creative ways to further expand the union’s reach and influence in non-traditional ways, and manage all tracking and reporting metrics to measure success.
- Understand the interplay between the union’s various entities (Trust, Inc., and others) to strategize new ways to collaborate and maximize positive exposure and impact
- Manage collaboration with other internal teams.
- Direct platform oversight, editorial calendar, and content development for all official digital, email, and social media platforms, providing day-to-day guidance and oversight to the Associate Director on goals, development, creative direction, and messaging.
- Demonstrate ownership and bring action that will support campaigns while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of related professional experience in marketing and branding
- Specific proficiency in digital media, graphic design, and creative services, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) and/or inDesign; video editing skillset preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, digital media, marketing/advertising or related majors
