MLBPA Summer Internship Program
Position Description: The MLBPA Summer Internship program is an 9-week summer internship program running from June 16 through to August 15 for college students graduating in 2026 or 2027 (rising Junior or Senior) for the following departments: Operations, Digital Media Communications, Information Technology, and Legal (Labor Studies).
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Communications, Digital Media:
• News and social media monitoring, general research (biographical, organizational, and topical)
• Social media account engagement and coordination, graphic design, video editing, and marketing communications
• Assist with short/long-term digital communications projects.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite
Operations:
• Assist with research and strategic processes for our main office, Arizona, and the Dominican Republic.
• Assist the Senior Director of Operations and the Office Manager with operational duties in our New York City Office.
Information Technology:
• Will learn and assist with day-to-day user Help Desk support.
Legal (Labor Law):
• Will work directly with our Labor Lawyers to conduct research and provide various labor law assignments.
• Students must demonstrate an interest in labor law.
Finance:
• Assist in operational Finance activities with management.
• Support process documentation efforts.
• Assist in other projects as required.
Qualifications:
• All Applicants must have a graduation date of 2026 or 2027 in the major that would relate to the internship.
• All interns are expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as reliable attendance and punctuality records.
• Possible questions about the company include what you know about MLBPA and all its affiliates. Applicants must answer these questions honestly and authentically by reflecting on relevant experiences such as previous volunteer work, and research experiences in school.
• Those applying to the Digital Communications internship will need to submit a resume, cover letter, and a portfolio or examples of their digital media work.
• Those applying for the Legal internship will need to submit a cover letter in addition to their resume.
Location: New York City Office – This role is hybrid, and you are required to come into our office to work 3 days a week while working the rest remotely.
Salary: $25.00 per hour
