THE TEAM
Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our 58 Chapters around the country. The Information Technology team is comprised of a diverse team of technologists responsible for building and operating the technologies that enable Make-A-Wish to grant the wish of every eligible child. The Information Technology team is focused on providing innovative solutions across these key areas : Operations, Security, Applications, Infrastructure, Governance, and Analytics.
THE ROLE
The Agile Delivery and Enablement Lead will play a pivotal role in both leading Agile ceremonies and working behind the scenes to remove blockers, streamline processes, and enable cross-functional teams to succeed. This individual will work closely with product managers and development teams to create an environment that promotes continuous improvement, self-organization, and collaborative problem-solving. They will act in alignment with Make-A-Wish America values and commUNITY ways of working, supporting and enabling teams to deliver with high quality and efficiency while fostering an inclusive culture of learning and growth.
WHERE YOU COME IN
As the Lead Manager, Agile Delivery & Enablement Lead you will :
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other ceremonies for assigned teams to drive alignment, focus, and effective planning.
- Identify process bottlenecks and collaborate with teams to implement improvements that enhance flow, efficiency, and team performance.
- Work proactively to address impediments that hinder the team’s progress, ensuring that obstacles are removed swiftly to support timely delivery.
- Provide guidance and coaching on Agile principles and practices, helping teams build self-organizing capabilities and continuously improve.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between product, engineering, and other departments to foster a collaborative environment.
- Utilize metrics like velocity, cycle time, and sprint outcomes to inform team progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive Agile maturity across teams by promoting practices that align with our mission and deliver on our organizational goals.
