THE TEAM
Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our 58 Chapters around the country. The Information Technology team is comprised of a diverse team of technologists responsible for building and operating the technologies that enable Make-A-Wish to grant the wish of every eligible child. The Information Technology team is focused on providing innovative solutions across these key areas : Operations, Security, Applications, Infrastructure, Governance, and Analytics.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will architect, design, build, and deliver technical solutions on the Make-A-Wish America Salesforce platform to support the Make-A-Wish National Office and 60 chapters across the United States. The role will be part of the Salesforce -IT Applications team responsible for analyzing complex business problems and implementing solutions that will enhance the functionality of our growing business applications environment.
WHERE YOU COME IN
As the Senior Salesforce Developer you will :
- Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce / Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
- Deliver across the product life cycle including product evaluations, solution design, custom development, testing, integrations, and implementation support.
- Leads or participates in architecture and technical design sessions
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews
- Coordinates release documentation and communications, including training and customer, service management, and technical release notes.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and partners closely with the product team to communicate to relevant audiences
- Support and assist with implementation of integration with other applications
- Participate in technical design sessions; propose robust scalable solutions and assist in the development of technical solution documentation.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze and delivers on assigned user stories
- Proactively communicates risks and issues with recommendations to the product team and product leadership
- Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured maintainable code.
- Effectively debug and resolve reported issues or defects reported
- Implementation of integration and 3rd party applications
