Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure that all items are securely packed and transported to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Follow designated routes for efficient transportation while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a truck driver or courier is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if necessary.
