Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed construction plans specifications and technical drawings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems particularly in HVAC and Controls as well as proficiency in design tools and effective problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems focusing on buildingrelated mechanical systems such as HVAC and Controls.
- Utilize experience in commercial building design to contribute to various projects.
- Independently address and resolve diverse mechanical engineering challenges.
- Actively participate in design reviews contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and analyze reports maps studies drawings and photos to support project objectives.
- Conduct site visits to document and verify project conditions.
- Maintain professional communication with clients agencies and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering / design experience.
- License : PE License is highly desired.
- Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Proficient in design layout and specification writing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office AutoCAD Revit and BlueBeam .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams clients architects and subconsultants.
- Strong expertise in HVAC systems and Controls.
- Experience with design tools including AutoCAD Revit and BlueBeam.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented approach to problemsolving and project .
