Major Responsibilities
Based at our Makena Golf and Beach Club, the primary responsibilities of the Residential Services Attendant include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members/guests, and team members.
- Inspect all work to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Assist with Marketing House and Residential Services as needed.
- Pick up grocery and/or household items as needed.
- Provide airport pick up's as needed.
- Deliver food from restaurants to Marketing House as needed.
- Work with member services to book activities and/or special requests from marketing house guests.
- Coordinate with or assist other departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates will ideally have the following experience:
- Demonstrates respect for and appreciation of Hawaiian values, history and culture, understanding its implication in one's work, in fostering meaningful relationships, and in embracing the community served.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests and team members
- Knowledge of and ability to operate computer and communication platforms (i.e. Jonas, Club Essentials, Alice)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; additional languages preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling
