QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years old
- Ability to perform physical requirements, lift 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read a tape measure, use general hand tools, wear PPE, and follow safety guidelines
- Dependability, hard-working spirit, and ability to follow instructions
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to acquire a DOT medical card
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- 1 years of experience in construction, concrete finishing, asphalt paving, site grading, pavement maintenance, or related labor work
- Ability to pass the DOT physical to drive company vehicles not requiring a CDL
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Construction Laborer, you are active in our various concrete and asphalt installation and repair jobs. You help prepare sites, perform physical labor, and use hand and power tools to get the job done according to specifications. Focusing on quality and safety, you help set up and break down temporary structures as well as mix, pour, and place concrete and asphalt. You follow company protocols and collaborate with trade teams to pull off impressive work.
Following directions from supervisors and foreman, you help load and unload materials, organize tools and trailers, and perform other general labor tasks. You safely operate trucks and trailers, show up to job sites on time, and strive to complete quality work while learning more and improving your trade skills!
