Job Summary:
Documentation Specialist is responsible for verifying that all incoming Customer documents are accurate, received in a timely manner and set up in the HFS database as directed. Position supports the Supplier Quality Leader in maintaining the approved supplier list, compiling vendor performance and assists in training new suppliers to ensure requirements are understood and processes are in place to meet them.
Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Set up new ingredient and packaging materials in SAP.
• Verify accuracy of incoming customer specifications.
• Review incoming bill of material for accuracy.
• Create set-up sheets for facility use.
• Maintain material masters and registers
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues.
• Filing.
• May be required to work weekends from time to time.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law.
• Comply with all Company rules, regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies & Knowledge:
Knowledge of:
• Procurement, products, and production processes
• Knowledge and experience with SAP

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 plus years’ experience in Data Entry
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), SQF all pluses
• Experience with internal and 3rd party audits preferred
