Job Summary: Trains new Machine Operators, Packers, Line Attendants and Gatekeepers and conducts training on new machines for the site. Provides additional training as needed and tracks progress of learners while adjusting training as needed.
Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday
2nd Shift: 2:15PM - 10:45PM $1.00 shift differential
Job Duties:Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:• Train all new hires in Primary/Secondary Room (ie. Packers, Line Attendants, Gatekeepers, and Operators)• Provide training (individual or group) to current employees, as needed• Perform evaluations on all positions to rate and address training opportunities• Provide feedback and coaching during each phase of training• Maintain training records and track progress and completion• Identify training opportunities • Report training metrics to leadership• Create and deliver new training materials• Step into production roles as needed• Downtime Training • Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) validation and development• Other job duties, as assigned
Required Competencies & Knowledge:Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two - five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of packaging equipment.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environments, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility.
Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and operate tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds with a hoist, pallet-jack or cart, and regularly lift up to 15 pounds of boxes of product, bales of cartons, or rolls of film. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
