What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations position at Makeready LLC?

This leader will be the true guide and partner for our Food and Beverage teams, managing with thoughtfulness, and curiosity. They will partner closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team for operational oversight and strategic growth, while also being a trusted partner to our field F B teams. They have a keen eye for what an unparalleled dining and drinking experience means for our guests, while also understanding the new and now within culinary trends. They are innovative and contemplative in all that they do, learn, manage and oversee.
Requested Tasks
- Collaborate with Food and Beverage leadership to drive effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation.
- Hold stakeholders accountable for delivering exceptional service and fostering team member engagement.
- Serve as an expert in Food and Beverage service standards, providing training and motivation to elevate knowledge and execution.
- Oversee budgets and cost management to ensure financial sustainability.
- Research, update, and manage Food and Beverage policies and procedures.
- Partner with culinary leaders to develop innovative and thoughtful menu offerings.
- Work with vendors to source the highest-quality ingredients at optimal costs.
- Support staffing needs, ensuring the right talent is in place for operational success.
Requested Capabilities
- Prior experience as a Food Beverage leader is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with a hotel or restaurant group is highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of culinary and beverage menu options, cost management, and financial oversight.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and seamlessly manage multiple high-priority tasks.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support various locations and initiatives.
