What are the responsibilities and job description for the Little West Tavern Server Assistant position at Makeready LLC?
The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin and his club of the same name. His “club for mutual improvement” brought together people from all backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time while enjoying life. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. This individual is just starting in the restaurant world and seeks to go beyond an understanding of the menu. This person recognizes that a great experience allows guests to focus on enjoying their food and the ambiance so it is important to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they ask. From swift delivery of food to refilling of drinks, this person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal, but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.
Requested Tasks
-Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, etc.
-Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
-Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
-Assist server with table service, including running food, serving beverages, etc.
-Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient and friendly manner
Requested Capabilities
-Prior experience highly preferred
-A proactive and friendly demeanor
-Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables and replace linens
