Job Title: FOH Supervisor
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House (FOH) Supervisor to join our team. The FOH Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our restaurant runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train FOH staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Ensure that all guests are greeted promptly and receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:- Implement opening duties to make sure the floor is ready for opening •
- Implement closing duties to make sure the restaurant is reset and ready for service
- Assist on the floor wherever needed. This includes but not limited to: taking orders, cashing out checks, touching tables, food running, expo, cleaning and address any customer or employee issues
- Ensure daily and weekly cleaning duties are being performed at the same level from all staff utilizing Cleaning Guides and Checklists
- Consistent communication with general management
- Fill out Daily Reports as directed
- Ensure food & beverage quality is consistent both to the eyes and to taste
- At closing check out employees to confirm that all closing duties were performed
- Create professional relationships with both guests and staff
- Be a leader and good example both in and outside of the restaurant
- Ensure floor design is always up to standard and including, but not limited to lighting, music volume, music genres, table symmetry, proper table resets, etc.
- Assist in conducting weekly inventory for the restaurant
- Collect and scan invoices from various vendors and upload them to digital file storage locations
- Ensure checkout lists are being completed evenly across all FOH departments.
- Pro-active in solving customer problems and satisfying customers in various situations
- Ensures that all team members follow the steps of service
- Assist line cooks in plating and fry station should they ever get severely behind
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service issues by maintaining a gauge on the floor
- Consistently monitors, coaches & encourages team to meet the company’s service standards.
- Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
- Trained in POS/Network crash scenarios and able to navigate in a calm and effective manner
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
- Show the ability to lead, communicate and demonstrate Makers & Finders principles, rules, and Standard Operating Procedures Thorough knowledge of all the dishes, beverages and ingredients of our menu • Understand specialty coffee at a basic level
