Makes & Models is a high line facility dedicated to automobile service, sales, performance upgrades and motorsports. We specialize in Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mini, Mercedes and exotic vehicles. We are a fast growing dynamic company looking for passionate talented people to join our team. Makes & Models is looking for a full-time Automotive Master Technician/Shop Foreman with at least 8 years of direct experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Manage and direct a team of high-level automotive technicians
- Act as our lead automotive diagnostician
- Dispatch incoming work according to Makes and Models process and procedures
- Responsible for repair and preventive maintenance of automobiles
- Responsible for a shop productivity rate of 100% per technician
- Also Responsible for day to day technician duties such as
- Repair and preventive maintenance of automobiles
- Test parts and systems to ensure they work properly
- Follow checklists to ensure maintenance and repairs meet company and manufacture standards
- Perform basic care and maintenance including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Perform repairs to manufacturer and clients specifications
- Follow company process and procedures
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and is able to translate complex technical jargon into plain English for the average client
- Good diagnostic skills
- Problem solving skills. Technicians should be able to find the best solution in a limited amount of time
- Solid work ethic and integrity
- Strong technical aptitude. Technicians should be able to use a variety of technical tools to diagnose and address a wide variety of vehicular challenges
- Up to date technology
- Personal tool inventory
- Valid driver’s license with driving record that adhere to company standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A certification from a trade or technical school in Automotive is desired for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
