What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roadside Assistance Technician position at MakeSafe Traffic Safety and Roadside Assistnace?
Needing help in southcentral CT. Our Roadside Service Technicians are on-call independent contractors that will perform tire change, tire patch, air delivery, fuel/fluid delivery, jump start, battery delivery and install, and lockout services to customers at time of request.
Starting pay is $18.00 per call, mileage after the first 10 miles at $0.50 per mile. $20 after TIM. Stipends for more advanced calls. Weekly direct deposit. We will be switching to hourly soon.
In need of days, eves, and nights.
Experience suggested, but anyone willing to work that puts in the effort can be accepted. Roadside, traffic control, first responder preferred. Will be required to obtain some training. Will be required to use own vehicle and equipment. Will be required to interact with various types of people. May be required to work in adverse environments or conditions. May lead to other work or advancements.
First responder/roadside owned small business operating 24/365 that takes a para-public safety and customer service approach to roadside assistance and traffic control. Additional information available during interview.
