The Label Specialist plays a key role in makesy’s warehouse operations by managing label printing and label application equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality labeling for all outbound products. This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining label printing machines, managing label inventory, and ensuring that all labeling processes meet quality standards. What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain label printing and application equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality labels for products.
- Print labels according to production schedules, verifying correct formatting, barcodes, and branding requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, performing regular maintenance to keep label printers running smoothly.
- Manage label inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and preventing production delays.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure proper labeling before orders are packed.
- Verify accuracy of printed labels, checking for alignment, legibility, and compliance with Makesy’s branding and product standards.
- Assist in process improvements, optimizing labeling workflows for efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures while handling label equipment and materials.
- Maintain clean, organized, and functional labeling workstations.
Who you are:
- 1-2 years of experience in label printing, warehouse labeling, or production operations
- Familiarity with label printing software and equipment (Afina label printers preferred).
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to adjust and maintain label printing machines.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring printed labels are accurate, legible, and correctly applied.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Comfortable using basic computer software for label formatting and inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
