In-House Photographer (Contractor)

Location: Fort Worth, TX Area – On-site 3–4 Days/Week

Focus: Product & Marketing Photography

We’re looking for a powerhouse creative to join the makesy team as our primary In-House Photographer & Editor (Contractor) — someone who doesn’t just take photos, but captures the essence of a brand and brings it to life through stunning visuals.

This role is perfect for a detail-obsessed, prop-styling genius who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on studio environment. You’ll own every part of the creative process — from pre-production to post — producing high-quality product PDP images and marketing content that lives across our marketing channels, website, social, and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

• Shoot high-quality, scroll-stopping product and lifestyle photography in our Haltom City, TX studio, 3–4 days/week
• Edit and retouch all images with precision to meet makesy’s visual standards & brand guidelines
• Plan and execute photoshoots from start to finish — including creating shot lists, prop shopping, and styling
• Own and organize the photo asset library for efficient cross-team collaboration
• Collaborate closely with the marketing & creative teams to bring brand campaigns to life
• Stay aligned with makesy’s aesthetic and creative direction, keeping content fresh, clean, and on-brand
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a deadline-driven environment

What You Bring:

• Must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area and able to commute to our studio
• Strong portfolio that showcases a keen eye for composition, styling, lighting, and editing
• 3 years of professional photography experience, especially with product
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
• Experience prop styling and building cohesive visual stories
• Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple shoots and timelines
• Strong communicator who’s collaborative and adaptable
• Understanding of digital marketing needs and content formats across platforms (email, social, web)

Bonus Points:

• Videography
• Familiarity with creative tools like Capture One, After Effects, or similar
• A love for working with makers, creators, and beautiful products!

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
