Overview
The Warehouse Lead - Pick/Pack is responsible for overseeing order fulfillment operations, ensuring that all products are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently. This leadership role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do:
- Lead and train warehouse associates on picking and packing procedures.
- Monitor daily order fulfillment to ensure speed and accuracy.
- Monitor order volume to ensure we are adequately staffed
- Ensure accuracy of open order reports in Netsuite at all times
- Implement quality control measures to prevent order errors.
- Greet all will call customers and assist them with order pick up
- Email customers when an item is unavailable on their order
- Work closely with our internal customer service team on order status inquiries and escalations.
- Work closely with inventory and shipping teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Track daily picker and packer performance and recommend improvements for process efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and Makesy’s operational standards.
who you are:
- 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Experience managing high-volume order fulfillment in a warehouse setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
- Friendly, confident personality and comfortable interacting with customers
