Renowned Makeup Artist Mario Dedivanovic is one of the most acclaimed, followed, and

influential makeup artists in the world. Mario is known for creating the most enhanced version

of an individual’s natural beauty. Having taught and popularized the best-known makeup

techniques of the last decade, Mario has ignited viral trends that have inspired and forever

altered the beauty landscape.

The role of National Pro Makeup Artist offers an exciting opportunity to bring Mario’s signature

makeup techniques to life. The National Pro Makeup Artist will be a field-based role focused on

elevating artistry of our field team members and inspiring Sephora BAs, driving sales through

artistry, and supporting artistry needs for the brand including content creation, shoots, and

assisting Mario as needed.

The National Pro Makeup Artist will be an expert in makeup application and demonstration,

offer excellent customer service, and will have a strong presence and delivery of brand

messaging.

A National Pro Makeup Artist must have a background in beauty retail sales working inside of

Sephora, strong makeup artistry skills, content creation experience, and experience assisting

makeup artists and a portfolio of artistry work.

Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Elevating artistry in the field and driving sales success
• Represent the brand in terms of elevated artistry, utilizing Mario’s signature techniques
• Be a voice of artistry needs for the brand, ensure instore feedback is making its way to corporate teams

Store Support (60% of time)

• Elevate artistry in the field by showcasing Mario techniques and selling through artistry to BAs and SEMs
• Maintain a strong top door focus in region to ensure sales targets are being met and brand love is strong
• Execute breakfast and district trainings at Sephora stores
• Lead events as a featured artist and achieve sales targets
• On sales support days, be a leader in service, sales, and artistry and engage and educate Sephora BAs when the opportunity arises
• Partner with Sales and Education teams to strengthen productivity through strong selling and presence in stores

Office and on set (40% of time)

• Be a close partner with the social team in development of content ideas and being on set to support social content shoots through artistry and providing artistry feedback during video editing
• Be supportive to the brand needs both on and off camera when on set
• Test products/looks ahead of photo shoots and social captures and provide insights to help inform content and marketing needs
• Develop face charts to coincide with looks to ensure to demonstrate key product placements and color combinations
• Maintain Makeup Artist kit to ensure all items organized and in good condition and ready for set
• Support creative team with artistry feedback that aligns with Mario’s esthetic
• Offer insightful feedback and work with product development on new product testing
• Support Product Development team with product testing and feedback

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Sephora in sales and education with a proven track record of success
• Excellent makeup artistry skills and be able to show a breadth of work
• Strong image and the demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times
• Team player with a positive, professional, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
• Organized and detail oriented
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Ability to be in NYC office, in stores and travel as needed

• Competitive salary range: $88,000 - $98,000 p/yr.
