MAKEUP BY MARIO is seeking talented Sales and Education Manager in the following city (Must live in or near the city)
The Sales and Education Manager must have a background in beauty retail sales, makeup artistry experience, and a strong passion for educating others. This candidate needs to be a natural sales person with a drive to accomplish sales goals, the ability to communicate clearly the message and philosophy of the brand, and to manage and execute events in their defined regions.

The Sales and Education Manager must have a background in beauty retail sales, makeup artistry experience, and a strong passion for educating others. This candidate needs to be a natural sales person with a drive to accomplish sales goals, the ability to communicate clearly the message and philosophy of the brand, and to manage and execute events in their defined regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Fully understand Sephora sales model, culture and policies
- Achieve sales goals in assigned region, through strategic call cycle and event planning
- Provide weekly sales performance/productivity, event activity and any field needs or feedback to Regional Manager
- Plan and execute in-store events in conjunction with brand initiatives
- Obtain, understand, and act on Assortment Cycle Count (ACCR) Reports
- Strong ability to manage and develop others while accomplishing the needs of your own region
- Interview, hire, coach and manage regional Market Specialists and/or Selling Specialists
- Effectively manage selling specialists and travel budgets to support assigned region
- Conduct all Sephora in store trainings in line with Sephora Brand expectations
- Work with store management for visual placement in-store
- Establishing and developing strong relationships at store level with Sephora BA's, Store Leadership, and DM's
- Lead strong partnership with Sephora BA's by providing service and support for any needs when in store
- Ensure Makeup By Mario gondolas, endcaps, towers, FOS, and BOTF areas are visually impeccable and in accordance with Makeup By Mario merchandising standards
- Follow individual scheduling guidelines when set by Sephora and ensure internal alignment
- Maintain individual in store bookings via Sephora's Happening Now system
- Manage Market and/or Selling Specialist in store bookings via Sephora's Happening Now system
- Maintain regular call cycle to stores and effectively manage and communicate schedule and travel (when applicable)
- Use company supported reports and tools to create customized in store strategies related to BA's/employee training and selling experience
- Ensure Sephora cast is well-versed in brand messaging, differentiation and assortment
- Deliver brand trainings to Sephora teams on selling, product knowledge, service experiences, and artistry based on techniques of the brand
- At least 6 years beauty industry experience required
- Must be comfortable and proactive in approaching potential clients and promoting Makeup By Mario brand
- Experience within Sephora required
- Must be able to motivate others and work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required
- Strong Makeup Artistry experience and abilities to apply makeup on others
- Must be able to travel within the territory
- Hours of work must be flexible to meet job objectives, some weekends are required
- Work within company expense and travel policy while managing individual budget
- Must possess a valid state driver's license, good driving record and required auto insurance policy
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite
