About the Role
Makeup By Mario, a premier beauty and makeup brand known for our innovative products and commitment to excellence is looking for a Sr. Manager of Performance Marketing to lead our digital advertising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, a deep understanding of ecommerce, and a proven track record of driving online sales growth through performance marketing. This person will be responsible for developing and executing the ecommerce paid digital media strategy as we continue to grow the brand, with new product launches.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy across paid media channels (i.e. Google, Meta and TikTok etc.)
- Work with our media agency to manage and optimize multi-channel digital advertising campaigns in partnership with a focus on driving ecommerce revenue and meeting KPIs (i.e. sessions, ROAS, conversion & revenue)
- Manage and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly advertising budgets
- Partner with the Sr. Manager, Customer Growth & Retention to develop and execute advanced audience segmentation and targeting strategies to reach beauty consumers across different platforms
- Conduct detailed performance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness
- Work closely with the global marketing and creative teams to create and execute targeted ecommerce campaigns
- Work with the social marketing team on influencer and UGC campaigns to maximize reach and impact
- Stay up to date on digital media industry trends and digital best practices, and continuously evaluate and refine the paid media strategy to maximize performance
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in digital paid media, with specific experience in ecommerce
- Proven expertise with Google (SEO, shopping, display, YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, CCTV and other digital media channels
- Deep understanding of the prestige beauty makeup landscape, especially Sephora
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, campaign optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate improvement
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with Triple Whale, Google Analytics and other ecommerce tracking tools
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Interest in beauty and a deep understanding of the online beauty market
