Job Overview
The Assistant Program Director and Caseworker plays a pivotal role in supporting the Program Director with the planning, development, and implementation of MACG’s prevention programs. This position is instrumental in managing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of quality services, and addressing our client’s needs through effective case management. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and skilled in working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Support and Administration
• Assist the Program Director in implementing program goals and objectives.
• Coordinate daily operations and logistics for program activities, ensuring smooth execution.
• Monitor program performance and outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records, including participant data, progress notes, and program reports.
• Support the planning and delivery of workshops, events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with our executive and development teams to support the strategic oversight and funding of MACG’s programs.
2. Case Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing case management services.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized service plans.
• Collaborate with MACG’s clients and partners to establish goals, track progress, and make necessary adjustments.
• Connect our clients with resources, referrals, and community services to meet their needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.
3. Client Advocacy and Support
• Advocate for our clients by helping them navigate systems and access available resources.
• Build positive relationships with clients to foster trust and empowerment.
• Provide crisis intervention, problem-solving support, and skill development assistance.
• Educate MACG’s clients on community resources, financial literacy, and life skills.
4. Team Collaboration and Communication
• Work closely with program staff and other departments to ensure a cohesive work environment.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Provide supervision and guidance to program volunteers and interns as needed.
• Contribute ideas to improve service delivery, program development, and partnerships.
5. Community Outreach and Partnership Development
• Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners to expand program impact.
• Support the coordination of volunteer and donor activities aligned with program goals.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, social services, or program coordination.
• Experience working with diverse populations is an asset.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
Skills
