Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Experience in special education, daycare, or Montessori settings is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and classroom activities.
• Incorporate physical education and wellness activities into the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.

Requirements

• At least one year experience in child education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and their families.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement effective strategies for diverse learners.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing the development of young minds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.68 - $18.45 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
