Has good working knowledge of the pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and will work under general supervision. Primary job functions will typically require exercising independent judgment. All responsibilities are carried out safely to provide customer satisfaction to our internal and external customers, consistent with Makita's company values.
Salary: $18.00 per hour

Essential Job Duties

- Reconcile stock discrepancies between WMS and BPCS.
- Processes the back-order report and orders b/o items from other branches.
- Enters and verifies inventory adjustments in WMS / BPCS.
- Research and resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Interfaces with all branches and FSCs regarding branch transfers, etc.
- Assists in solving inventory variances and mis-ships to FSCs.
- Assists in periodic physical inventory of stock on hand and in maintaining perpetual inventory.
- Supplies other departments with the shipping information as to the arrival of certain products.
- Runs, organizes, and distributes computer reports upon request.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- The ability to use an electric pallet jack, and forklift is a plus

Skills Required
- Working knowledge of the principles of accounting and demand planning (cycle counts).
- Good data entry and 10- key skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent math skills and analytical thought processes.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented with the ability to remember a lot of details and be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task daily.
- Proficient ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must have problem-solving abilities, able to interface with all departments, must be able to retain information, and have excellent follow-up skills.
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions by Makita policy.
- Knowledge of Red Prairie WMS software is helpful, but not required.

- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.
