Job Summary:
The primary function of the Warehouse Clerk II is to utilize the resources of the warehouse, maximize warehouse efficiency, and service to the customer while keeping operating expenses to a minimum.
Salary: $42,000 - $44,000

- Responsible for the warehouse personnel, and equipment to meet company objectives.
- Responsible for providing a quality packaged product to the customer.
- Responsible for safety in the warehouse and the reporting of unsafe situations.
- Responsible for working effectively with warehouse personnel.
- Responsible management of the inventory.
- Responsible for assisting with the training of junior employees.
- Responsible for the negotiating and ordering of supplies.
- Responsible for maintaining the facility, by keeping it clean and organized.
- Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and the facility.
- Responsible for physical inventory.
- Performs other job duties as assigned by management.

Skills Required:
Ability to work in other departments as needed based on workload and manpower needs.

- Ability to operate all manual material handling equipment
- Demonstrates the ability to use RP WMS and RF guns proficiently.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through with those instructions consistently
- Experience with desktop software applications. Fed Ex and UPS parcel systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to make decisions based on the information.
- Previous warehouse or motor freight environment experience.
- Previous operation of warehousing-type equipment.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Education and/or Experience Desired:
High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent years of experience to exhibit the knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through completion of any of these requirements.
- 3 years minimum of warehouse experience or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Required to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Be able to stand; walk, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull, items up to 65 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While lifting boxes bend, twist, and turn while placing them into their appropriate place. Ability to use power hand tools weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps. Coordinate the movement of the body, arms, and legs while walking down aisles and carrying boxes of supplies.
- Able to work in an environment that is sometimes hot or cold, and subjected to occasional loud noises, and/or hazardous conditions.
