Experienced Seamstress – High-End Drapery Workroom

We are looking for a skilled seamstress to join our team and help create beautiful, custom window treatments and home décor pieces.

Responsibilities:

• Expertly sew and assemble custom drapery, Roman shades, pillows, and cushions.
• Measure, cut, and hem fabrics with precision according to workroom specifications.
• Operate industrial and home sewing machines, sergers, and other necessary tools.
• Work with a variety of high-end fabrics, including silks, linens, velvets, and sheers.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every piece.
• Follow work orders and design specifications accurately.
• Collaborate with designers and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sewing, preferably in drapery or home décor.
• Proficiency in working with high-end fabrics and intricate sewing techniques.
• Ability to read and follow detailed workroom instructions and patterns.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with pattern matching and fabric alignment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
