We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team.
Job Summary: The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to understand scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze project risks and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and refine estimates.
- Prepare bid proposals and submit them in a timely manner.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate estimates.
- Maintain a database of pricing and historical project costs for reference in future estimates.
- Assist project managers in budget development and cost control during project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a construction estimator, particularly in commercial projects (3 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
