What is 1-Tom-Plumber?
1 Tom Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing, water
damage mitigation and plumbing maintenance company providing services to both
commercial and residential properties.
Position Purpose:
Sells 1-Tom-Plumber services to businesses and residences.
The primary function of the Sales Representative job is to grow 1-Tom-Plumber
sales volume by selling new services to commercial and residential prospects and
managing ongoing customer relationships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
â Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on
information from LinkedIn, business directories, industry ads, trade shows,
newspapers and other sources.
â Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospects and regular
customers to solicit orders or talks with prospects and customers by phone.
Extensive cold calling required.
â Discusses the benefits of working with 1-Tom-Plumber.
â Quotes prices and credit terms and signs commercial account agreements as
needed.
â Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
â Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM
software.
â Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
â Attends trade shows and other community events to develop leads.
Qualifications:
â 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales. Sales management a plus.
â Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
â Strong negotiating skills.
â Deadline- and detail-oriented.
â Ability to build rapport with clients.
â Familiar with CRM platforms.
â Ability to lead and inspire others.
â Self-starter.
â Excellent organization skills.
