About us
Makris Legal, P.A. was founded in 2020 and is a real estate law firm specializing in landlord/tenant law, business law and contracts. Makris Legal, P.A. provides legal services for landlords, property owners, property managers, and business owners throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming calls, greet clients, and handle general inquiries
· Coordinate and schedule appointments and maintain attorney’s calendar
· Sorting, scanning and distributing paper and electronic mail
· Draft and/or proofread legal documents and correspondence
· E-filing documents via the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
· Organizing hearings and upload files via JAWS
· Filing documents in case files
· Assist with organizing client files
· Assist with property management tasks, rent collection, lease agreements, and tenant inquiries
· Coordinate and schedule property inspections and maintenance requests
· Handle billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Qualifications:
· Professional and friendly demeanor and attitude
· Excellent communication skills
· Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
· Detail-orientated and strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Proficient with Apple computers and software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, case and file management systems
· Experience working in a legal or property management office is a plus.
· New Port Richey, FL 34652: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
