What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls System Lead position at Malace HR?
Areas of Responsibility
- Smart Building Systems and Applications
- Ensure all smart building system documentation is complete and up to date
- Revise standard operating procedures and reconfigure system programming due to project related operational or policy changes/requirements
- Develop and/or update functional and end user requirements based on customer specifications
- Maintain and enforce a consistent naming convention for all smart building assets
- Monitor and ensure continuity of data and communications for system functionality
- Coordinate repair or maintenance of smart building systems and applications when needed
- Oversee and ensure all smart building functions are operating as designed
- Implement revisions to sequences of operation as needed for integration and performance of smart building systems and applications
- Maintain points of contact for applicable smart building solution vendors
- Act as owner's rep for repairs and maintenance to applicable smart building systems
- Client Support and maintain smart building content
- Adhere to specified client standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support account-based process consistency to help ensure adherence to account deliverables, maximize process efficiency, and continually deliver exceptional client service
- Training
- Set up and provide training and guidance for operations and FM personnel as it relates to smart building systems and functionality
- Participate in on/off-site training opportunities through the JLL Smart Building Program platform.
Qualifications
- Education and Training
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
- Background/ experience in engineering, IT, network administration, building operations or related fields
- Years of relevant experience
- 2-5 years of experience operating/maintaining building systems, networks, or related areas
- Skills and knowledge
- Ability to understand and produce user-based documentation on smart building systems based on field observation, process and instrument diagrams, OEM manuals, operator and user interviews, and existing standard operating procedures
- Understanding building and IT systems, applications, and platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (World, Excel, Access and Power Point).
- Ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player
- Ability to deal with challenging, dynamic, fast paced work environment and maintain professional internal/external customer service relationships
- Ability to explain IT and network concepts to non-IT personnel
Salary : $45 - $47
