Malacehr is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Data Center Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of our data center facilities. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic insight to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of our data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage data center operations, including power, cooling, and network systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all data center equipment.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for equipment and services.
- Analyze data center performance metrics and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the facilities team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to capacity planning and budgeting processes for data center operations.
Desired Experience and Technical Skills:
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in data center operations and management.
- In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
- Familiarity with Work Order Management Systems (Corrigo knowledge preferred).
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives in data centers.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CDCP, DCPRO, or CDCS.
- Experience with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Six Sigma or ITIL certification.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with IoT, smart building technologies, and BMS systems.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
