Malace|HR is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to provide essential maintenance support for our assigned buildings. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility while addressing various maintenance needs. The shift will be 1st shift Monday-Friday with after hours HVAC preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the facility to ensure safety, security, and overall upkeep.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry and plumbing tasks, as well as managing vendor services.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
- Assist in moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials upon request.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including design, usage, repair, and maintenance.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
