What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Malace HR?
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Facilities Technician to provide general maintenance support for our assigned buildings. The Facilities Technician will play a key role in ensuring that the facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained. This includes maintaining mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, and managing vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair power, HVAC systems, controls, and other mechanical systems.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and lighting systems.
- Replace lighting system bulbs, ballasts, and other essential components as needed.
- Assist with the movement of office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials when required.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services and maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with effective time management.
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment, including their repair and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in mechanical and electrical systems.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or similar roles.
Shift Schedule:
- Option 1: Wednesday - Sunday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Option 2: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Salary : $25 - $33
