Malace|HR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. You will utilize safety predictive and productive maintenance systems to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the achievement of Android's business goals. This position demands a hands-on professional with a solid technical background and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Launch activities for machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls systems
- Perform preventative maintenance routines on production equipment
- Oversee shift startup activities to ensure smooth operations
- Provide daily reports on downtime and equipment status
- Communicate effectively with team members and management (EOSR / Communication)
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Ensure all machinery is functional for production, ensuring minimal downtime
- Analyze and measure machinery performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Lean Process Audits (LPA)
- Respond to maintenance calls promptly and efficiently
- Follow lockout / tagout procedures to ensure safety during repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Manage parts inventory and ensure adequate stock for repairs
- Track and report any production downtime, suggesting improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime as needed
- Adhere to safety and mechanical requirements
