What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refrigeration Technician position at Malace HR?
Malace|HR is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to work in the Lexington, KY area. The position will be mobile with commercial accounts in the Lexington Region. A company provided work van outfitted with all essential tools will be provided. Normal hours are 8 AM- 6 PM.
Qualifications
- EPA Certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Correctly complete necessary documents (work tickets and timesheets) in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Demonstrate ability to complete necessary customer paperwork and invoicing requirements.
- Proficient in operation of smart phone, tablet and or laptop
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Drive a company Vehicle safely to customer locations.
- Maintain and manage truck inventory in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines (If applicable).
- Ability to work outdoors
Requirements
- Identify, service, repair, and install all components of the HVACR systems we service. Including but not limited to:
- -Receiver
- -Oil Separator
- EPR
- Liquid Line Solenoid Valve
- Suction Header
- Have a strong knowledge base of controller
- Learn to force defrost through the E2/Danfoss Controller
- Show what valve/valves you would close to pump down the rack
- Be able to pump down refrigeration circuits
- Demonstrate proper procedure when locating a leak
- Clear understanding of Parts Order Form
- Other duties as assigned
Salary : $20 - $40
